Cisco rigs wireless lab in Sydney.

ABIX via COMTEX) -- Cisco will open a wireless integration solutions laboratory in North Sydney, New South Wales. Mike McAndrews, director of product management (wireless business unit) at Cisco, said that the laboratory would be opened by June 2002. The company plans to use the laboratory for testing new wireless local area network applications with Cisco equipment. According to Troy Andrew, product manager at Cisco wireless products, Cisco's Internet Protocol telephony partners would be integrated into the laboratory.
