NSW: Jaguar announces principle sponsorship of STC
SYDNEY, Feb 20 AAP - A major sponsorship deal with luxury car maker Jaguar would help
return the Sydney Theatre Company (STC) to its pre-eminent position in Australian theatre,
Premier Bob Carr said today.
He made the announcement with STC's artistic director Robyn Nevin and Jaguar managing
director Danny Rezek in Sydney today.
"I urge other big companies to follow their lead in making the arts work for them in
sponsoring Australian arts entertainment," Mr Carr said.
